My Village

  My village is Mahawalathenna. It is a rural  and a beautiful village
. Mahawalathenna is a nice area. There are paddy fields and small coconut plantations in my village.
 These lands are very fertile. 
           Most of the villagers there are Farmers. They are honest and live peacefully.
They help each other. My village has a hospital. People take  medicine from the village hospital.
The village  has    a  post  office, saloon, shop, co-op shop,  temple and  a bank.  .
 The villagers in my village  are united together to develop our village.
My village people live in peace and in co-operation May my village develop dayby day!!!

My Grandfather

My grandfather’s name is P.K   JON
He loves us very much     He was a farmer but he can’t work.
 He lives happily in a village called Mahawalathenna He is an innocent
 person and doesn’t harm others. My grandfather
Is a good story teller and children are very fond of his stories.
 My grandfather
Can sing songs and recite poems my younger Sister and I listen to them.
 On “poya” days my grandfather goes to the temple
And observes “sill”. He never gets an angry.

My Father

My father’s name is Mr. P.K. Somachandra.He is a farmer and works in a paddy field.
 He lives In Mahawalathenna. My father bring me story Books, writing books, beautiful clothes and Foods.
 My father forty one years old and his birthday is in September. My father has four brothers and one sister.
 He likes to read the newspaper. He is very kind hearted.
       I wish him Longevity.
